FASOLA DATA DELETION

Remove your
Fasola data.

Last updated September 4, 2026

Fasola does not require a Fasola account. Most learner data stays on the device and can be removed directly in the app. You can also ask HartmannTek to delete an optional Fasola account and records it can identify in its support, launch-update, purchase-access, and service systems.

Delete your Fasola account

In Fasola, sign in to the account you want to delete, open Settings, and choose Delete account and data under Account & membership. Review the subscription warning and confirm. You can use the same Settings control in the Fasola web appif you no longer have the mobile app installed.

Once your request is accepted, the account can no longer be used to sign in or authorize new downloads. Fasola removes its account mapping, sign-in identity and associated RevenueCat customer records through an automatic retry process. The control also resets local practice history, preferences and downloads on the current device. Data stored only on other devices must be reset on each device separately. If your installed version does not have this control, or you cannot sign in, use the support form below.

App Store and Google Play subscriptions are not canceled by account deletion and may continue billing: manage them through the store before deleting your account. A web subscription managed by RevenueCat Billing is canceled immediately when its customer record is deleted. Deletion does not issue a refund.

Delete local app data

In Fasola, open Settings, choose Reset all Fasola data, and confirm Reset all data. This removes practice history, preferences, support diagnostics, downloaded language and instrument packs, and Fasola's local pack-access installation identifiers from that device.

Store purchase history is not deleted by this control. It remains with Apple or Google and can be restored through Fasola. Removing the app also normally removes its local data, subject to the device's backup and restore settings.

Request server-data deletion

Use the Fasola support form, choose Privacy or data deletion, and state what you want deleted. Submit the request from the email address used for any earlier support message or launch-update signup. If the request concerns a purchase, include the platform and store order identifier, but do not send payment-card information, passwords, microphone recordings, or speech transcripts.

HartmannTek may ask for limited additional information to verify and locate the records. A deletion request can cover an optional Fasola account, its pseudonymous account mapping, support messages, launch-update signups, and RevenueCat customer and purchase-access records that can be matched safely to the request. A server-data request does not reset local practice progress on your devices; use the in-app reset control for that data. Apple and Google independently control store purchase records, subscriptions, and receipts; use the applicable store account or store support channel for those records.

A parent or legal guardian may submit a request concerning a learner who is under the age of legal majority. HartmannTek may ask for limited information needed to verify the requester's authority while avoiding collection of unnecessary information about the learner.

Automatic expiry

Fasola's download service uses short-lived keyed-HMAC rate-limit counters and bounded operational traces rather than storing plain network, RevenueCat, or installation identifiers in those records. Rate-limit counters expire on a rolling schedule, and operational traces are retained for 30 days. Because these records are deliberately pseudonymous, HartmannTek may be unable to associate a particular counter or trace with an email request; they expire automatically instead.

What is retained

HartmannTek may retain the minimum information required to document and complete the deletion request, meet legal or accounting obligations, protect the service from abuse, or resolve a dispute. A one-way account-identity hash is retained for two days after erasure to prevent an old sign-in token from recreating the account. It is then removed automatically. Manage or cancel mobile subscriptions through Apple's or Google's subscription controls.
